Excavation, analysis, and report production for Ladle House was funded by Bob and Diane Greenlee.
Excavation of Ladle House was conducted by Woods Canyon Archaeological Consultants, Inc. during the summers of 1994 and 1995. Archaeologists Jerry Fetterman, Kelly McAndrews, and Kay Barnett of Woods Canyon were assisted in the field by landowners Bob and Diane Greenlee. The excavation was conducted under Colorado State Permit #94-54.
Artifact analysis from the site was conducted by Kelly McAndrews and Kay Barnett of Woods Canyon with the help of Jerry Fetterman, Pat Haynes, Mary Maez and Ron Rood.
The authors wish to thank the Greenlees for supporting this project and allowing us to play with the idea of "an archaeological report". The process has been fun, enlightening, and, hopefully, a source of education and entertainment for readers.
